about
how and why do i make music?
i weave snippets of found, made, manipulated, and composed sound into cultural storytelling, political commentary, life philosophy, experimental cosmology and funky dance music. i make music because it helps me look at things in new ways, and because i have to create something. it’s not about making money or trying to “break into” the music industry, and i humbly promise to any of the artists whose cultural output i borrow from time to time that if i should ever make a dime on this project, i’ll pay my respects financially.

goals of the doctor paradox project
besides making music for my own enjoyment, i am interested in finding and creating a community of music-makers. somewhere underneath the mad scramble for airplay and competition for resources is a community that just wants to make music, cooperate and share knowledge, and have fun bending the minds and souls of other humans in fellowship with other creators and enthusiasts.
i am also interested in questioning, blurring, laughing at the distinction between ‘art’ and ‘technology.’ i am drawn strongly to both, and resent the societal pressure to choose between the two. i seek for the creator and the geek to be one.
